Overdose dying charges have spiked dramatically for younger adults, rising 34 % between 2018 and 2022, in line with latest knowledge from the Facilities for Illness Management and Prevention.

But, there are methods to mitigate the danger of overdose, and even methods to reverse it.

Notably there’s Narcan.

It is a model of the medicine naloxone, and it is typically used within the type of nasal spray. If administered rapidly, it will probably absolutely reverse an opioid overdose.
